Tennessee Wild just announced a series of 10 hikes to the areas where we are seeking wilderness designation. These outings (hikes) of varying length and difficulty will take place between July and October. The hikes include three backpack trips, four family hikes, a free wilderness photography workshop, and two longer day hikes.
We could use some help distributing fliers throughout East Tennessee. We are especially interested in having these posted on public bulletin boards in Maryville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Kinston, Kingsport, Johnson City, Greeneville, and Elizabethton. If your local coffee shop or outfitter has a bulletin board, and you are willing to ask permission to post a flyer please let us know. In exchange for helping us out, we'll send you 10 Tennessee Wild stickers for you, your family, friends and co-workers.
Local businesses are also encouraged to contact us. If you are willing to endorse or campaign in name and distribute our flyers and stickers, we will list you on our supporters page.
