Thank our U.S. Senators for reintroducing The Tennessee Wilderness Act

Great News! Thanks to your letters, phone calls, and emails of support we are one step closer to protecting the Cherokee National Forest! Senator Lamar Alexander reintroduced The Tennessee Wilderness Act (S.1090) on May 27. This legislation will protect nearly 20,000 acres of wilderness in Tennessee's Cherokee National Forest, and is cosponsored by Senator Bob Corker. When passed, this important piece of legislation will create the first new wilderness areas in Tennessee in 25 years! Please take a moment to thank your senators for reintroducing this legislation.
