Over the last year, the Tennessee Chapter - Sierra Club [1] has played an important role in the campaign to protect the Cherokee National Forest.  Their members have written letters, hiked in the proposed areas, gone to Washingtion DC to lobby, and staffed exhibits at local farmers markets.  The current July-August edition of Tennes-Sierran [2] (PDF 1.3 MB) features a front page article and photo about the recent introduction of the Tennessee WIlderness Act of 2010.  Check it out!
